Overview

Teach  For All is a nonprofit that envisions a world where all children have the education, support, and opportunity to shape a better future.

We worked with their team to develop and design three websites using a shared backend framework. This included updating a website migration from Drupal 7 to Drupal 9 and splitting another into two sites.

What They Needed

The client needed all sites to use a shared backend framework that would allow them to scale up as needed and upgrade their Drupal 7 site to Drupal 9.

The pre-existing Teach For All website was designed and produced in 2017 and needed an overhaul to be branched into two separate sites while adding a third new site to the list of properties. The goal was to create a design and build for their main site that the two other proposed sites could also use.

Speed and page loading time were a challenge in their old site, especially on pages with curated data, such as from views or paragraphs. The team wanted to create a visually appealing site, that is fast-loading, easy to navigate, and intuitive, as well as an informative experience that conveys the work and goals of Teach For All clearly and concisely. They required a complete redesign, redevelopment, and content migration for their original project.

How We Helped

We redesigned the website to improve user experience, evaluated its intended audience and message focus, and completely redeveloped the site from Drupal 7 to Drupal 9. We also ensured that the design and development both integrated the requirements to be ADA-compliant.

For the second site, we provided design, development, and UX support.

While the third site was in progress, we also provided regular support and maintenance.

Words from
the client

“[ImageX is] highly attentive to our requests. I get the sense they try to see our choices from our point of view. Our decisions may not always be the best and they readily, and respectfully counsel us on other options and potential ramifications of choices and requests we may put forth. We work together on solutions.”

The Results

The project launched on time with three customizable sites based on a single code base with scalability.
