Tom James
Drupal Developer
Tom James is a freelance web and Drupal developer based in the United Kingdom at present. Tom has always been a keen internet user but his love of web development started around 9 years ago when he picked up a book on this “weird code language” called HTML and started playing, a new hobby was born. After a year of travelling in and around Europe and a failed attempt at starting a sports degree at university Tom decided it was time to take his web “hobby” to the next level. He signed up for a foundation degree in Multimedia, which after 2 years he passed with distinction.
Although his foundation degree covered all aspects of mulitmedia include video, animation and music, Tom decide to focus on web design and started out making sites for friends and family before going freelance 4 years ago.
Tom joined ImageX in September 2007 has hasn’t looked back since, he enjoys the dynamic and challenging nature of the work and learns something new everyday!

I lived in Madrid, Spain for 6 months up until March 08 if that counts as a trip.

When I’m not geeking out at ImageX, I like to:
Get outside, Run, play football (soccer) every weekend and get away snowboarding whenever I can. Aside from that I am 100% addicted to travelling so I’m always planning where i’ll be heading next.
